Mamure kale camisi kalenin kitabesinin bulunduğu eski giriş kapısının açıldığı havlu içerisinde yer almaktadır.

Camiye basık kemerli taştan yapılmış kapıdan girilir. Merkezi kubbeli bir yapıdır. Sekizgen tambura geçiş Selçuklu mimari tarzındaki üçgene benzeyen pandantif bingilerle sağlanmış durumdadır.

Caminin yapısında bulunan taş ve tuğla sıraları uyum içinde örülmüştür. Kubbeye geçilmeden önce saçak kısımlarında tırnak şeklinde süslemelere yer verilerek etki yaratılmıştır.

Osmanlı Padişahı 2. Selim zamanında Lala Mustafa Paşa tarafından kalenin fethedildiği bilinmektedir. Selçuklular tarafından yapılmış olan kale içi camiinin 16. yüzyıl Klasik Osmanlı Mimarisinin öğelerini taşıyacak şekilde onarım gördüğü anlaşılmaktadır.

Cami önünde inşa edilmiş olan sarnıç kemerle dekore edilmiş ve beşik tonozludur.


Caminin minaresi tektir ve batı tarafında yer alır. Pişirilmiş kırmızı kil tuğladan yapılmıştır. İçerisinde şerefeye çıkmak için dönerli(minare içinde kıvrımlı) merdiveni bulunmaktadır.

 

Camii bugün için Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığınca görevlendirilmiş olan imamı bulunan, ibadete açık camiler arasında yer alır. Camii önünde tabelası yer alır. Bu tabelada gerekli bilgiler ziyaretçilere vermektedir.



The mosque of Mamure Castle is located in the courtyard where the old entrance door opening and the inscription of the castle is located.

Mosque is entered through a flattened arched stone gate.

It is a centeral domed building.

Changing into the octagol drum is provided with triangular pendant pendentivesin Seljuk minaret style..

During the constructıon of the mosque the Stones and bricks were built in harmony.
      The impact is given with the ornamental nails on the fringes before bing passed to the dome.

It is known that the castle is conquered by Lala Mustafa Pahsa ,at Otoman Sultan II.Selim’s time.
     We can understand that the mosque in the castle is restored with the impact of XVI. Century classical Ottoman architect.


The cistern built in front of mosque is decorated with the arch and stock vault.

 
The minaret of the mosque is unique and is located in the west.
It is built with baked bricks made of red clay.
        In the mosque there is a curved stair to go up to minaret balconycheerio.


Today it is among the mosques that has Imam is employed by Department of Religious Affairs and it is opened to worship. There is a signboard in front of the mosque. It can give the necessary informations to the visitors.
